SENIOR CASE SUPERVISOR (IN TRAINING)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assigned to certain cases/students who demonstrate challenging behaviors in school/home/community settings
  • When there are no other staff to cover, a Case Supervisor covers direct service hours for Aultruism 1:1 teammates that are starting the case late, call off sick, go on vacation, leave the case early due to an emergency/illness, etc.
  • Assists with supervision and direct service coverage of assigned and/or unassigned cases as needed.
  • Provides case supervision and behavior services under the supervision of a BCBA and within the context of state and federal regulations as well as the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts: http://bacb.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/150813- BACB-Compliance-Code.pdf
  • Uses approved emergency procedures during behavioral crisis (e.g., CPI)
  • Trains others to use behavioral interventions
  • Engages in ongoing data collection and analysis
  • Effectively communicates and collaborates with colleagues, paraprofessionals, school staff, and parents
  • Enrolled in a BCBA program or has completed a BCBA program

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Provides case supervision for consumers/students in their home, school/while on their school bus ride, and/or community settings
  • Supervises direct service providers (Behavior Intervention Implementation- 1:1’s)
  • Evaluates direct service providers by completing performance evaluations as needed/on a regular basis.
  • Assists with/Conducts/writes FBAs, BIPs, and progress reports
  • Collects and analyzes ongoing data
  • Trains school staff/mediators in behavior analytic concepts, including data collection.
  • Conducts school staff/mediator education
  • Trains school staff/mediators in the implementation of recommended behavior interventions
  • Works with school staff/mediators to transition instructional control from direct service staff to school staff/mediators
  • Revises BIPS as needed
  • Attends IEPs or IPP’s
  • Observes school staff/mediators implementing behavior intervention plans and provides feedback
  • Troubleshoots with school staff/mediators revises plans as needed
  • Addresses any school staff questions/concerns via email, phone, face-to-face meeting
  • conducts programming/program development
  • Covers assigned and/or unassigned case direct service hours or supervision hours as needed
  • Maintains quality and consistency of programs
  • Adheres to/follows all agency policies/protocols
  • Fades out behavior services gradually and systematically.

CASE SUPERVISORS (IN TRAINING) ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SATISFACTORY EXECUTION OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED, UNDER ANY AND ALL CONDITIONS.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possesses a RBT or BCaBa certification
  • A Master's Degree (in a related field), or working towards a Masters degree, and/or BCBA
  • 2 years experience of designing, implementing, and evaluating ABA interventions
  • 2 years experience of providing direct intervention with children.
  • A valid CA driver's license, clear DMV report, valid car registration, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation to commute throughout assigned areas in order to serve the families we partner with Unlimited Potential.
  • This position requires regular and punctual employee presence.
  • A clean criminal record.
  • Experience with Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Social Stories, and PECS highly preferred, but willing to train.
  • A background check (Livescan)
